Trump Warns U.S. Will “Shoot Iranian Boats Out of the Water” to Keep Strait of Hormuz Open!

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has declared that American forces will continue attacking Iranian vessels if necessary to ensure that the strategic Strait of Hormuz remains open to global shipping.

In a strongly worded message posted on his Truth Social platform on Saturday, Trump said the U.S. Navy would “continually shoot Iranian boats and ships out of the water” if they attempt to obstruct maritime traffic through the vital waterway. The statement comes amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran following a series of military confrontations across the Gulf region.

Trump argued that several countries whose economies depend heavily on energy supplies passing through the strait are expected to deploy naval forces alongside the United States to safeguard the route. He specifically mentioned major global economies such as China, France, Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom as nations that could contribute warships to the mission.

According to Trump, the deployment of allied naval forces would ensure that the Strait of Hormuz — one of the world’s most critical energy corridors — remains “open, safe, and free” for commercial vessels. The waterway carries roughly a fifth of global oil supplies, making any disruption a major risk to global energy markets and economic stability.

The remarks follow reports that Iranian forces and allied groups have launched attacks on shipping and energy infrastructure in the region amid the widening conflict. In response, the United States has reportedly carried out strikes on Iranian military installations, including strategic sites linked to maritime operations and oil exports.

Despite Trump’s claims that U.S. operations have significantly weakened Iran’s military capabilities, Iranian officials have rejected the assertion and accused Washington of spreading misinformation. Tehran maintains that it retains the capacity to retaliate and defend its interests in the Gulf region.

The ongoing confrontation has raised international concerns about the possibility of broader regional conflict, as well as its implications for global oil supply chains and maritime security. Analysts warn that prolonged instability around the Strait of Hormuz could trigger significant disruptions to energy markets and shipping routes worldwide.

As diplomatic channels remain uncertain and military activity intensifies, global attention remains fixed on the Gulf, where the standoff between Washington and Tehran continues to shape the geopolitical landscape.
