Authorities in Ukraine say Russia launched one of the largest overnight aerial assaults of the war, deploying around 430 drones alongside dozens of missiles, leaving at least four people dead and several others injured as explosions and fires struck multiple regions across the country.

Ukrainian officials reported that the barrage primarily targeted areas surrounding Kyiv and other regional centres, damaging residential buildings, energy infrastructure, and public facilities.
