Iranian Security Chief Warns Trump: “Be Careful Not To Get Eliminated Yourself” Amid Escalating U.S.–Iran Tensions!

A senior Iranian security official has issued a sharp warning to Donald Trump, intensifying already volatile rhetoric between Washington and Tehran as military and geopolitical tensions deepen across the Middle East.

The warning came from Ali Larijani, a powerful figure within Iran’s national security establishment. In a statement posted on the social media platform X, Larijani dismissed Trump’s recent threats against Iran as “empty,” cautioning the U.S. leader to “be careful not to get eliminated yourself.”

Larijani’s remarks followed a fiery message from Trump, who warned that the United States would strike Iran “twenty times harder” if Tehran attempted to block global oil shipments through the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a maritime chokepoint through which roughly one-fifth of the world’s crude oil supply typically passes.

Escalating War of Words

Trump’s statement, posted on his social platform Truth Social, included a stark warning that Iran could face “death, fire, and fury” should it interfere with international energy supplies or threaten U.S. interests in the region.

Iranian officials responded by asserting that the country would not be intimidated by U.S. pressure or military threats. Larijani wrote that the Iranian nation had historically withstood stronger adversaries and would continue to do so.

Even those greater than you have failed to eliminate the Iranian nation,” Larijani stated, urging Trump to “watch out” for his own safety.

Analysts say the exchange highlights the increasingly personal and confrontational tone that has characterized recent communication between the two governments.

Strategic Stakes in the Gulf

The standoff comes amid heightened instability in the Gulf region, where tensions over shipping routes and energy supplies have rattled global markets. The Strait of Hormuz, bordered by Iran and Gulf states, remains one of the most critical transit points for international oil trade.

Any disruption to the waterway could have far-reaching consequences for global energy prices and supply chains, making it a central flashpoint in U.S.–Iran relations.

Meanwhile, regional conflict has intensified, with reports of military strikes and retaliatory attacks spreading across parts of the Middle East, raising concerns among diplomats and security experts about a broader escalation.

Global Reactions and Diplomatic Concerns

International observers warn that the increasingly hostile rhetoric between Washington and Tehran risks fueling further instability at a time when the region is already grappling with ongoing conflict and humanitarian concerns.

While both governments continue to project strength, analysts note that the exchange underscores the fragile state of diplomatic relations between the United States and Iran, where miscalculation or escalation could carry global economic and security implications.
