Iran Outlines Three Conditions for Ending War as Tehran Demands Reparations and Security Guarantees!

The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has outlined three conditions that Tehran says must be met before it will consider negotiations to end the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel.

In a public statement following diplomatic engagements with regional leaders, Pezeshkian said the war could only end if Washington and its allies recognize what Tehran describes as Iran’s “indisputable rights,” pay reparations for damages caused during the conflict, and provide binding international guarantees to prevent future aggression.

According to the Iranian leader, the conditions represent the minimum framework for any meaningful de-escalation of hostilities. He reiterated that Tehran remains open to peace but insisted that any durable settlement must address what Iranian authorities view as the root causes of the confrontation.

“The only way to end this war is recognizing Iran’s legitimate rights, payment of reparations, and firm international guarantees against future aggression,” Pezeshkian said in remarks released after discussions with leaders from Russia and Pakistan.

Escalating Regional Tensions
The latest remarks come amid rising tensions across West Asia following a series of military exchanges involving Iran, the United States and Israel.

The confrontation intensified after reported joint U.S.–Israeli strikes on Iranian-linked targets earlier in the crisis, prompting retaliatory missile and drone operations by Tehran in several locations across the region.

Iranian authorities maintain that the conflict began with what they describe as aggressive actions by Israel and the United States. However, Washington and its allies have framed their military posture as a response to Iran’s regional activities and security threats.

Tehran has also alleged that civilian infrastructure including residential areas and medical facilities has been affected during the hostilities, claims that have further complicated diplomatic efforts aimed at securing a ceasefire.

Diplomatic Calculations
Analysts say the conditions outlined by Tehran recognition of sovereign rights, financial reparations, and legally binding security guarantees set a high threshold for negotiations and could signal Iran’s attempt to strengthen its bargaining position as global actors push to prevent the conflict from widening.

The demands reflect Iran’s longstanding emphasis on sovereignty, deterrence, and international legal recognition of its strategic interests in the Middle East.

With military operations continuing and diplomatic channels still active, international stakeholders including Russia and Pakistan have reportedly engaged Tehran in discussions aimed at reducing tensions and preventing further escalation.
