Insecurity Not Worsening in Nigeria, Says Tinubu’s Aide Bwala

The Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has stated that insecurity in Nigeria is not worsening, insisting that the federal government is making progress in addressing security challenges across the country.Bwala made the statement during an appearance on the international programme Head to Head on Al Jazeera, where he discussed Nigeria’s current security situation.According to him, although the country continues to face security challenges such as terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping, the situation is not deteriorating as widely believed. He added that the government is strengthening the operations of security agencies and improving intelligence gathering to combat criminal activities.Bwala further noted that insecurity is a global challenge affecting many countries and stressed that Nigeria is working with international partners to tackle terrorism and other threats.He reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of President Tinubu to protecting lives and property, stating that ongoing military operations and security strategies are gradually producing positive results in different parts of the country.
