A Germany-based chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Murtala Awolola, has formally declared his intention to contest the Kwara South Senatorial seat, promising to deploy international partnerships and grassroots engagement to confront insecurity and accelerate socio-economic development in the district.
Awolola, who has built his professional and political networks in Germany, said his decision to enter the race was driven by growing concerns over security challenges, youth unemployment, and rural underdevelopment across Kwara South. He pledged to bridge global best practices with local realities if elected to the National Assembly of Nigeria.
