Christmas: NSCDC Deploys 786 Personnel to Ensure Safety in Gombe

As part of measures to guarantee the safety of lives and property during the festive season, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 786 personnel across Gombe State for Christmas and New Year celebrations.The deployment, confirmed by the Gombe State Commandant of the NSCDC, Muhammad Bello Muazu, is aimed at enhancing security visibility and deterring criminal activities across key locations such as places of worship, markets, motor parks, recreational centres, and event venues.Muazu said the operation includes intelligence-led patrols, surveillance, and rapid response units to manage emergencies. He urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to security operatives.
โThis deployment is a proactive step to ensure that residents celebrate peacefully and safely. We are working in collaboration with other security agencies to maintain public order,โ he stated.The NSCDC also advised parents to monitor their children closely during the festivities and called on event organisers to cooperate with security protocols for a smooth and safe holiday experience.
