Armed Robbers Attack Man, Steal ₦10 Million in MinnaReported by: Enock DamidamiArmed robbers on Friday carried out a robbery attack in Minna, making away with over ₦10 million and a Toyota Camry after allegedly trailing their victim from a bank.The incident reportedly occurred in the afternoon along Shiroro Road, where the suspects intercepted the victim shortly after he left a bank where he had received payment from a client.Eyewitnesses said the robbers blocked the victim’s vehicle, forced him to stop, and quickly carried out the attack. During the operation, the suspects seized the cash and fled with the victim’s Toyota Camry.Sources at the scene revealed that the robbers abandoned the vehicle they arrived with, a Toyota Corolla, while escaping with the victim’s car.Confirming the incident, the spokesman of the Niger State Police Command, Wasiu Abiodun, said officers from the Tudun-Wada Division responded after the report was received.According to him, security operatives recovered the abandoned vehicle and a rifle suspected to have been used by the robbers during the operation.The police spokesman added that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspects.Residents have expressed concern over the incident and called for increased security patrols in the area to prevent similar attacks.Source: Sele Media Africa.
