Troops of the 3 Division / Joint Task Force Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) have struck a major blow in the battle against violence and arms proliferation. In a precision-led raid, they uncovered an illegal arms manufacturing factory in Heipang District, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, Plateau State. The operation led to the arrest of a suspected weapons fabricator and the recovery of a large cache of arms and ammunition. [1]
What Happened
โขโ โ The raid was conducted on September 17, 2025, following credible intelligence about an arms fabricator operating within the area. [1]
โขโ โ According to Major Samson Zhakom, spokesperson for the 3 Division, one suspect was arrested at the site, while others fled. [2]

- 12 assorted fabricated weapons [1]
- One fabricated pistol [2]
